CCBTP Trainee Aminah Wali will be attending and speaking at the 2015 Cancer Biology Training Consortium (CABTRAC) Annual Retreat October 25-27. Aminah will be attending the Retreat with CCBTP directors Channing Der and Adrienne Cox, and they will also be joined by LCCC Postdoctoral Trainee David Scott.
Aminah has been selected to give a short talk titled “A High-throughput Screen to Discover Inhibitors of Aberrant Chromatin Accessibility”.
Dr. Cox will be speaking about the Cancer Cell Biology Training Program.
Drs. Cox and Der with both serve on a panel discussing the T32 review process.
This event is the premier Cancer Biology Training conference in the United States, the Cancer Biology Annual Retreat brings together today’s and tomorrow’s leaders in cancer research. The Retreat provides a forum to discuss new training concepts and trends, training program development, as well as providing the latest information on grants and national policy.
